PhoenixSong.net is a canon-oriented Harry Potter fanfiction archive. It was started as a Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny archive shortly after the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2003 and grew to accept more ships as they were confirmed by the subsequent books.

PhoenixSong.net is being archived at AO3 to help ensure that the works will remain available. AO3 will also give its users the ability to review and respond to reviews, which hasn’t been the case at PhoenixSong.net for a while now.

West of the Moon

West of the Moon, a Lord of the Rings archive with gen and slash fan fiction, poetry, and filk, is being imported to the Archive of Our Own (AO3).

West of the Moon was “frozen in time” on February 18th, 2008 – almost 5 years to the day from its birth. The archive is no longer online, but its moderators and the OTW will be preserving all of these amazing works!

The import was completed in June 2023 with final details September 2024.

The Foresmutters Project

The Foresmutters Project was the first test case for the Open Doors project. Foresmutters is a bibliography and collection of stories from the very earliest days of recorded slash, principally Kirk/Spock from the mid-1970s. It’s a tremendously valuable resource for the K/S fandom, which is still active today, and for historians of fanworks. We are hoping to grow this collection. If you or someone you know wrote K/S in the 1970s or 1980s, please contact us; we can find someone to help you transcribe or scan your fiction.
